What is a #roadtripjourney?

A #roadtripjourney, drawn from my personal experiences, is the road trips we take on this journey we call life. My experiences with road trips began during my college years, but it was in 2006 that I encountered the ones that would set a new course for my life. These are the road trips I speak of—the ones that dared to challenge my preconceptions, left me breathless and altered the trajectory of my existence. They prodded me to question my very identity and traded my childlike faith for a parcel of insecurities, self-doubt, and an apprehension of the unknown.

No one and nothing could have prepared me for these moments. Ironically, each road trip, although they appeared to subtract something from me, contributed to my growth and development.

Sharing our experiences could lead us on yet another road trip—a path to healing and paying it forward to help someone else. I encourage you to join me in this process of transparency and healing. Only share those things that God has prompted you.
