Eliminate & Overflow - Part I

I went to the doctor a couple of weeks ago for my annual check up. I had not been to her in several years so she asked me, “what’s been going on?” I told her menopause and some other things. She said, “Okay, let’s do a reset.” She’s a holistic physician therefore she put me on an elimination diet to reset my system.

Here now, a couple of weeks in, God begins to speak to me about it. He said, “this is not just about your health. This is also spiritual. I’m eliminating all of the things spiritually, emotionally, mentally, professionally, and personally that has to be removed for what I’m about to do.”😲

See, “you cannot pour new wine into old wine skins.”🙌🏾

“Neither do people pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭9‬:‭17‬ ‭NIV‬‬

God has been pouring, and pouring and pouring in to me, and I’m not in control of how He does it, who He chooses to do it through, or when He does it. All I have to do is be obedient, surrender, and have my “cup” clean (elimination) and ready.

I heard Him say to me today, “you are OVERFLOWING not overwhelmed.”

May He continue to eliminate and pour into me until my cup is overflowing in the mighty name of Jesus 🙌🏾
